THIS PORTION OF THE BUSINESS PLAN INCLUDES
SOME OF THESE SECTIONS:
- Discussion of the nature of forecasts or
projections;
- Summary of the last three to five years'
historical results (Statements of Operations, Balance Sheets and Statements of Cash Flow);
- Summarize the important, informative ratios
relating to these historical financial statements;
- Develop realistic, detailed
projections for the next three to five years, including Statements of Operations, Balance
Sheets and Statements of Cash Flow. Realistic assumptions are key to this work. They
should be detailed and include, but not limited to:
- Discussion of all balance sheet items,
including policies regarding such items as timing of purchases, payments and sales
collections; inventory turnover; equipment purchases and uses; debt and other matters
relating to balance sheet items;
- Sales and costs of sales by product,
service, system, program and geographic location, if applicable;
- Each overhead item;
- Related entity items, if applicable; and
- Other items relating to specific industries,
products, services, systems or programs.
Note - We can work with
your Company and prepare the above items, or we can work with your accounting department
or your outside accountants if you so request. They can prepare most all of the above
financial analysis items and we can review them for reasonableness and presentation
format.
